Five Ayurvedic Secrets for strong hair

The Sanskrit word Āyurveda means knowledge of life and longevity. It is a holistic system of medicine that has been recorded in the Vedas since more than 5,000 years ago. Āyurveda is sacred ancient wisdom.

In the old classical Ayurvedic texts, it is believed that the knowledge of this system was transmitted from the Gods to the Sages and finally to the human physicians.

Well, here are 5 ancient secrets that will make your hair grow with beautiful strength. I can attest from personal experiences that these are relevant secrets, they work! I am especially a big fan & lover of the beautiful Hibiscus flower.

1.  Moringa Oil

This oil is powerful and full of nutrients. Simply massage into the scalp once every week to see results.

2.  Root Vegetables Juice

Ayurveda wisdom invites you to enjoy the benefits of healthy juice. It is said that if you drink Carrot, Sweet Potatoes, Squash or Kale Juice, your hair will be stronger. This is a beautiful and easy alternative that can be locally accessible for most people. You can also add some of these to your creative juices and smoothies.

3. Curry Leaves

Simply mix 6 tablespoons of Coconut Oil with curry leaves blend to create a special mixture. Then, rub it into your scalp for absorbing all the effects.

4. Hibiscus

This is my favourite. I simply adore the hibiscus for its vibration. You can either make a hibiscus infusion to pour into your scalp or mix the flowers into a carrier oil shampoo.

Remember to also drink hibiscus as tea, it is such an amazing medicine. I particularly love it iced cold in the summer! Yum.

I adore it when I am on Southern lands such as Mexico and I can access hibiscus locally, what a lovely treat of self-care!

5. Indian gooseberry oil

This specific type of oil can be a little harder to find, except if you are travelling or based in Asia. You can find it online or in specific health food stores.

Simply apply it to the root of your hair for benefits.

I personally always prefer and encourage people to get local sources of medicine to support earth ways. Only, I believe these secrets are worth sharing.

Enjoy and investigate local opportunities of healing too!

Remember, health is accessible in simple and natural ways. Tap into this powerful ancient knowledge. It is out there and available for us all!
